In the first 15 years of his career John tried some of the most complex criminal trials in the county. From the Southern District of New York, to the Eastern District of Michigan and parts in between he built a fierce reputation with more than 70 acquittals against State and Federal prosecutors.
Then one day civil litigators with large or risky cases began asking John to try their cases for them. He won a record seven figure verdict in his first civil jury trial, in a conservative rural jurisdiction. He has gone on to win significant seven and 8 figure verdicts and settlements in cases ranging from simple car crashes, to complex workplace injuries, to surgical malpractice and nursing home brain injuries. He is best know for his simple, direct, and authentic style, and his ability to build constructive working relationships with even the most conservative and anti-plaintiff juries.
